Acme has a continuous research and development program dedicated to selecting the best possible sensing technology and applying it to the HVAC marketplace. Acme’s natural gas sensors must offer a long life, stable performance, easy field calibration and when required, quick replacement. The ALARM operating level placed on the natural gas sensors shall provide visual and audible alarms and also close an independent SPDT contact. Nuisance alarms caused by temporary conditions shall be avoided by providing a field-selectable (30 min. standard) time delay between operating of HIGH and ALARM levels. The front panel on all natural gas sensors includes LEDs for each detection point, indicating if the location has gas present at the low or high preset levels or if an alarm indication exists. Our four-line LCD display indicates the gas being sampled at each location, its concentration in PPM and if a ventilation or alarm level exists.
