ACME was the first to adapt instrumentation-style equipment to the building market in the early 1970's. Our equipment is designed to control ventilation systems in buildings, most notably through Carbon dioxide sensors (CO2) in underground parking garages. Acme CO2 carbon dioxide sensors use a robust PVC enclosure measuring 6" tall, 6" wide and 4" deep (152mm X 152mm X 101mm). Detectors are anchored to the wall using four mounting brackets and there are no controls accessible on the front of the unit, discouraging tampering. Indicating lights are provided for power on, one to four relay levels, a general alarm level and a sensor fault indicator. The E Series CO detector line can be equipped with one to four output relays for fan control as well as a 4-20 mA signal for proportional control. The carbon dioxide sensors can also be fitted with our RS-485 communication card for connection to our CEL Series control panels. E Series units can have the number of output relays increased and communication features added later via a factory upgrade, so the investment is protected even if needs change over time.
