Hydraulic power clamps the tube and performs the shear operations. After the tube is inserted in the die cavity, camping dies secure the tube for shearing. The shear blade is fabricated from high impact tool steel for maximum durability. Simple design of the head and electrical components provides increased accessibility for this beading machine; tool changes and setup typically take less than three minutes. Production setup for the beading machine is performed by adjusting the forward stroke of the cylinder that operates the cutting blade.
